Free Range Chicken Eggs, Brown

Our hens roam freely about the farm, with a safe place to sleep/roost at night in a newly built chicken coop.  We guarantee FRESH eggs, and humanely treated chickens!  :-)

Note:  DUE TO HIGH DEMAND, we have added local FREE RUN chicken eggs (from other local farms) in size L and XL to supplement our BFF (Breault Family Farm) free-range eggs (also brown in colour) 

The difference between the FREE RANGE EGGS and the FREE RUN EGGS, is that the free range chickens can eat grass, bugs and other vegetation and the resulting eggs are higher in omega-3 and vitamins.  FREE RUN EGGS are from laying hens who live in a barn but are not housed in cages like the commercially raised chicken eggs you find in the grocery store.  Note: during the winter months, our hens are also kept inside to protect them from the cold northern Ontario winter weather.  :-)

NOTE: sometimes we have small pullet eggs - these are smaller size (generally 10-15 grams lighter than a large egg), but just as nutritious, and we sell these in 18 packs only.  Pullet eggs come from younger hens who are just starting to lay eggs, so the eggs are smaller in size.
